Arranging Ten Educational Lectures Concerning Ballot in Nineveh
The Iraqi Institution for Development (IID), one of the non-governmental organizations in Iraq, arranged ten lectures in Mosul district and a number of Nineveh districts concerning ballot and how the voters should indicate their choice in the paper, at the same time, the lectures also aimed at encouraging people to participate largely in the election that would taken place on 7th of March, 2010.
The total number of participants was 1000, 1 thousand from both gender and from different religions, ethnicities and sects.
The lectures were on the following topics: Iraqi Electoral Law, Voters Rights in expressing their choice, and clarifying the role of the Iraqi Parliament. Also, we discussed the following topics:
- The Role of Parliament in the Democratic Countries.
- The Role of Iraqi Citizen in the Election.
- How to Vote Correctly.

تنظيم 10 محاضرات توعية حول بطاقة الاقتراع
في محافظة نينوى
قامت المؤسسة العراقية للتنمية IID في قضاء الموصل وعدد من اقضية محافظة نينوى بتنظيم 10 محاضرات تعليمية حول بطاقة الاقتراع وتشجيع المواطنين على المشاركة الفاعلة في الانتخابات البرلمانية 7 آذار 2010 , وكان عدد المشاركين 1,000 الف مواطن من كلا الجنسين ومن مختلف الديانات القوميات والمذاهب وقد تناولت المحاضرات قانون الانتخابات العراقي وحق المواطن في اختيار ممثلين البرلمان وتوضيح دور البرلمان في العراقي , وكانت المواضيع كالتالي:
- دور البرلمان في الدول الديمقراطية
- دور المواطن في الانتخابات
- كيف نقترع في بطاقة الاقتراع
- تقسيم المشاركين حسب العمر والجنس:
